Change "Get Help Now" to "Get Out Now" but I've seen it, and it's a huge hurdle to overcome. The victim so often feels trapped and that there's no exit. But why do they stay? Sometimes (in a case I'm familiar with) they started out trying to help the other, and continued clinging to that. More often, they learned how relationships are supposed to be from their parents..
Anyway, it's a subject I'm more familiar with than I'd like to admit. It's convoluted in our case and wasn't helped by our friend getting mixed up with a dirty cop. Bad jujubes all around.
(PS, if you want the fictionalized story +Brent Burzycki I'll send you a copy of the e-book. You'd probably hate it because it's fictionalized, but based on real events though 😉
Sure I will take a copy
PM me an email addy and your preferred format. Or if you don't mind manual uploads I can get you the smashwords.com "all the formats" version 🙂
