I am looking for real world experience with them…I need to upgrade our broken junk and it might be time to cash in on what a connected thermostat can help with….
Then I got questions…… Like does it work well…. How well does remote control work etc… What I really need is one with remote temp sensors in different rooms to balance temps in the house or at least average them..
I have one and it works great! I only have one so I cannot speak to how well it works in a multi-thermostat setup. That being said, I love the one I have. Not only is controlling your thermostat from where ever you are nice, it also tracks your usage and helps save some $$. Couldn't see myself going back to the old way ever.
Interesting that one worked but the other not +Scott Bourne I see they have a compatibility checker… You would think that in a house with two systems they would be similar…..
I've had one for about a year now. It's saved me some money with its auto away feature and its "learning schedule". They have rolled out at least 2 firmware upgrades since I got it, increasing its abilities both times. I cant think of anything bad with this device.
+Brent Burzycki +Dobie Wollert has one, swears by it. I think +Koushik Dutta either has one or was looking at one as well.

If I could just get heat on in my humble abode, I would be happy.

I got one of these yesterday. Have to try it out.

+Scott Whitney thanks…
And thanks to others for the input…
it is definitely the prettiest one…and the fact it uses wifi is better than hard wire for my install locations….
have to do more research..
