There is a mistake in the video.
Literally actually can be used as a hyperbole.

+Jonathan Cruz I think he was poking fun at people who ALWAYS use literally instead of figuratively, or people who always add it when it's implied. Litteraly.

+Jonathan Cruz Oxford dictionary definition of hyperbole:
"Exaggerated statements or claims not meant to be taken literally."

    Please reconsider your statement.

Merriam – Webster dictionary defines literally as a hyperbole:

"Since some people take sense 2 to be the opposite of sense 1, it has been frequently criticized as a misuse. Instead, the use is pure hyperbole intended to gain emphasis, but it often appears in contexts where no additional emphasis is necessary."

So I literally cannot believe we are arguing about hyperbole……?

Actually I just like saying hyperbole more than literally…

+Kilvoctu Well you very clearly have a paradox now.
    Either intended or not intended.

Weird Al never left the top of the music scene, to me.
I listen to him daily – can't start my day without a polka!

+John Burke I think he's talking about how "Mandatory Fun" reached #1 on the Billboard 100.

good thing he's only retiring from albums. He'll still be making singles.

+Andrew Cao Does he literally mean that he literally thinks that point out that literally, while being in use as a hyperbole, is literally less than a hyperbole? That's just saying that he personally dislikes using it as one…

+John Burke literally? You need that polka. 🙂
